After completing this training programme, participants will have the skills and knowledge to deliver a 5-minute presentation on an identified topic with confidence, using the right techniques and approach.

Aims/Objectives of the Training

This presentation skills course is designed:

  • To help individuals in designing and delivering high-impact presentations
  • To foster confidence when delivering presentations
  • To learn how to use verbal and body language to their advantage
  • To understand the differences when presenting online or in person
  • To deal with all types of customers (current, potential and difficult ones)

After completing this training programme, participants will have the skills and knowledge to:

  • Deliver a 5-minute presentation on an identified topic with confidence, using the right techniques and approach.

4 sessions are recommended (though can be tailored to client’s distinct needs)

The training can be delivered in an in-person format or blended. The course will be delivered in English.

Course Outline

  • Introduction to the course
  • Introducing participants to the tools and techniques to enhance their use of verbal and body language in various business settings (negotiations, presentations, influencing, leadership…) for more powerful mutually beneficial and profitable results.
  • This will be useful for any personnel involved with managing teams, negotiating deals at any level.
  • It’s all about the customer experience
  • The difference between customer service and customer experience
  • Introduction to dealing with difficult customers
  • Understanding customer types
  • Discussion on the ECA Method: Empathy; Control; Advocacy
  • Discussion on real life case studies.
  • Participants will be split into smaller groups
  • Tips on how to prepare for a presentation
  • How to structure a presentation
  • Feedback on the participants presentation skills will be given
  • Trainees will be showing off the skills acquired through this course.
  • Each participant will be giving a 5-minute presentation to the rest of the team.
  • A final round of feedback will be given along with some pointers to look out for moving forward.
